What happens after placing my FRA order.
You will get an email confirming your Fire risk assessment order with the date and approximate time for one of our engineers to attend at you Property or your requested site location. Our London fire surveyor will then carry out the fire risk assessment taking notes of everything in the specified area being assessed, and what safety measures are there and what is not there. From alarms fire extinguishers Em lights etc and then seeing if you have any policies or fire procedures in place. This Includes the fire risk logbook exits and more, collecting all the information we require. After the London survey is complete the surveyor will send the information back to the office, where the fire risk assessment report will be ready to email you in a PDF format. The report is normally a 8-page document with characteristics of your property, the results of the survey and possible recommendations depending on what you have there in your property. This is your copy to keep for your records or to assist you if recommendations are noted on the report, note this is a live document and can be up dated and changed as recommendation arise or things change in the law. The time to complete fire risk assessment can vary depending on the property and environment and the system you have in the property. The reports are emailed to you within 24hrs of completed job. Note our surveyor will contact you in the event of them running behind time on their daily visits for testing. We endeavor to get to you on time.
The recommended retest date will be on the fire risk assessment provided and we will send a reminder 1 month before it is due to expire, to give you time if you wanted to re book back in before expiry. You have two ways to pay either up front online via the website or you will be invoiced on completion of testing but note, certification will not be released until payment is made. Unless you are an existing account customer, or this has been pre agreed.

EET / PAT TESTING SERVICES FOR DJS, BANDS, MUSICIANS AND ENTERTAINERS
Whatever equipment you might need from PA systems to projectors, mixers and decks to lighting and screens. We can also test smoke machines to pyrotechnics.
If you don't want to be turned away from gigs or venues then make sure all your equipment is EET / PAT tested and you have your certification with you.
What is EET / PAT testing

What does a EET / PAT inspection involve.
We make sure there is no damage or defects to your equipment and the equipment is wired correctly. We will be also checking the plug has the correct fuse and is wired correctly. This is known as a Visual inspection
We then use our EET / PAT testing machine to test your equipment to make sure that it is safe to use.
If your equipment has passed the EET / PAT test we will then issue you a green EET / PAT test label which will be applied to your equipment.
If your equipment does fail due to damage or defects or is unsafe to use due to electrical fault you will be issued a red label and you must not use this equipment until it is fixed.
Once payment has been received we will then issue you a certificate and a register which will provide a list of items tested on the day.
For DJs, bands, musicians and for entertainers the EET / PAT test will be valid for 12 months
But you must carry out a visual inspection every time you use your equipment as it's your responsibility to make sure your equipment is safe to use.
EET Testing means: Electrical Equipment Testing.
PAT stands for portable appliance testing.
Your electrical equipment should meet safety standards.
